/ July18, 19, 22, 2016. / Human Rights Committee Vranje / SOS Vranje organized and held meetings of the Local network to combat violence against women in the family and partner relationships in municipalities of Pčinja District: Bujanovac, Presevo, Vladicin Han and Surdulica. The meetings organized in cooperation with the centers for social work in these municipalities.
The meetings attended by representatives of institutions: CSW, police, Prosecutor’s Office, educational institutions, health care system, and municipal administrations – members of the local network to combat domestic violence.
The meetings’ topics included the work of local networks, experiences and practices of the representatives of the institutions in their work, and the application of special Protocol in cases of domestic violence, prescribed by the competent Ministry, the difficulties encountered in their daily work with victims of domestic violence, as well as ways and opportunities to overcome them.
Human Rights Committee Vranje / SOS Vranje, presented the work of local network in Vranje, so as functioning, dynamics of work and the objectives of the Focus Task Force of the Local Network, organizing meetings once a month and working on specific cases of domestic violence.
