/ Vranje, 12/10/2016 / On the occasion of December 10, International Human Rights Day and 16 Days of Activism Against Violence Against Women, the Human Rights Committee Vranje – SOS Hotline Vranje organized street action „Tree of human rights“ in the center of Vranje.
The aim of the campaign is to inform and raise the awareness of citizens and the wider public on human rights, on the problem of human trafficking, family and partner violence against women, and the forms and mechanisms of protection.
Citizens of Vranje wrote messages on the Protection of Human Rights and symbolically decorated the tree of human rights. At the same time, the citizens with their signatures supported the petition to designate May 18 – Day of Remembrance of the murdered women victims of violence.
